Vice Principal: Mrs. Tina Yee
My name is Tina Yee and it is an honor to serve as the Vice-Principal of Westmoor High School.
This is my ninth year in education. Prior to serving here, I spent five years teaching science at a middle school in San Leandro Unified and three years teaching Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Oakland Unified.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with emphasis in Astrophysics and Statistical Mechanics and a minor in Natural Science Education from the University of California, Merced. Following that, I earned my first Master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership and teaching credential from Cal State East Bay and later my second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and administrative credential with the Principal Leadership Institute at the University of California, Berkeley. In my spare time, I enjoy running half-marathons, lifting weights, exploring new foods and traveling with my husband.
I am so excited to be a part of the Westmoor community. I firmly believe it is through a culture of belonging that we can achieve anything.
