Vice Principal: Dr. Sterling He

Dr. He has been in education since 2014 and is proud to become a member of the Westmoor community. Before joining the administrative team at Westmoor, he taught Math for seven years at Skyline High School in Oakland. During his tenure, Dr. He served as the Math Department Chair for three years, led the Personnel Committee for three years, served on the School Site Council for two years, Faculty Council for two years, as well as the Instructional Leadership Team for three years. 

Dr. He attended various community colleges in San Mateo County Community College District at first, then he earned a BA degree majoring in Applied Mathematics and minoring in Science and Math Education from UC Berkeley as a transfer student. Dr. He graduated from Mills College with his first masters degree in Education, a second masters degree in Educational Leadership, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.

In the 2024-25 school year, Dr. He will serve as the 11th grade and 12th grade administrator, who oversees Math, Social Science and World Language departments. Dr. He will also support Athletic Students, Student Attendance and Truancy, Student Behaviors, Staff Supervision, School Safety (Emergency Drills and Procedures, Safety Plan, and Restorative Practices).
